Nancy Ellington

Nancy Ellington is a retired early childhood educator. She also taught early childhood curriculum college courses as well as serving on the College of Education Faculty Council for the University of Phoenix.  She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education and Early Childhood, a Master of Arts Degree in Elementary Education, and earned National Board Certification as an Early Childhood Generalist.

She has presented teacher workshops at the local, state, and national levels and co-wrote/co-presented the Scholastic Webinar “Common Core strategies for the primary grades.”  Her blogs include https://www.teacherviewstoday.com, https://www.singasonglearning.com, and https://dixiehollinshighschoolclassof1969.com.

She is an active member of the National Association for the Development of Young Children (NAEYC), the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI), the Florida Writer’s Association (FWA), and Broadcast Music Inc. (BMI).
